QuantStrike does not track your data. We believe in providing a powerful stock and ETF analysis tool without compromising your privacy. We do not engage in data profiling, behavioral tracking, or selling of user information to third parties.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only the minimal information necessary to provide and maintain the Service:
- Account Information: When you sign in via Google OAuth, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture solely for authentication purposes.
- Payment Information: If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card numbers or banking details on our servers.
3. What We Do NOT Collect
We want to be clear about what we do not do:
- We do not track your browsing behavior across the internet
- We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising trackers
- We do not build user profiles for targeted advertising
- We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes
- We do not monitor which stocks or ETFs you research
- We do not log your search queries or analysis activity for profiling
- We do not collect, sell, or share your linked brokerage holdings, balances, cost basis, transactions, or any portfolio data pulled through the SnapTrade integration. Holdings data is fetched on-demand at your request, used only to render your dashboard and power AI Portfolio Recommendations you explicitly ask for, and is not retained in a queryable warehouse or used to train models.
- We do not receive, see, or store your brokerage username, password, 2FA codes, or broker-issued API keys — SnapTrade handles the entire authentication flow inside its own secure Connection Portal.
4. How We Use Your Information
The limited information we collect is used exclusively for:
- Authenticating your identity and providing access to the Service
- Processing subscription payments through Stripe
- Communicating essential service-related notices (e.g., account changes, security alerts)
5. Data Storage and Security
Your account information is stored securely and protected with industry-standard security measures. We retain your data only for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service.
6. Third-Party Services
Our Service integrates with the following third-party providers:
- Google OAuth: For authentication only. Refer to Google's Privacy Policy for their data handling practices.
- Stripe: For payment processing only. Refer to Stripe's Privacy Policy for their data handling practices.
- Financial Modeling Prep / MarketStack: For financial data. No user data is shared with these providers.
- SnapTrade (optional, Pro only): Used only if you are a QSAI Pro subscriber and you choose to link a brokerage account through the Accounts panel. SnapTrade (operated by Passiv Technologies Inc.) is the authorized aggregator that handles the entire brokerage-authentication flow inside its own secure Connection Portal — your brokerage credentials never touch QuantStrike servers, logs, or databases. We store only an anonymous SnapTrade user identifier tied to your QuantStrike account so that subsequent holdings refreshes work; we do not collect or retain your holdings, cost basis, or transaction history in any queryable form, and none of it is used for advertising, profiling, or model training. You can sever this link and have the SnapTrade-side user deleted at any time by clicking "Disconnect account". Refer to SnapTrade's Privacy Policy for how SnapTrade handles your brokerage information. See Section 4 of our Terms of Service for the full brokerage-integration disclosure.
7. Data Scraping and Collection Prohibited
As outlined in our Terms of Service, scraping, crawling, or systematically collecting any data from the QuantStrike platform is strictly prohibited for both commercial and non-commercial purposes. Unauthorized data collection may result in account termination and legal action.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Opt out of any non-essential communications
